Please cite for me OC, or DC hires where they're allowed to bring their own assistants with them then we'll talk.  HC does the hiring and firing.

AU 2008 was the failing of the HC to lead his lieutenants properly.  He allowed a mutiny because he was part of it.

yet some still worship at his throne.

I look for Lutz to look like Jason Witten this year. Serious.

Very well possible. Lutz has the hands of a WR and doesn't mind putting somebody on their ass either.

Agree....that was used as an excuse by most.  Truth is it doesn't happen.  I blame both sides though it wasn't 100% Franklin's fault.

If you are referring to Kaos I disagree.  He will admit he wanted Tub's gone as bad as everyone else, that it was time for him to move on.  What others have done is suddenly turn on Tub's and shit all over him.  Kaos just tries to point out all the good that Tubs did for Auburn.

I happen to agree with him except for the recruiting part, I think Tubs got lazy and got beat by lord sabanz plain and simple.

If its is to Emory Blake I am ok with it. Anyone else though never did shit with it.

This got me thinking about our WR corp. Outside of Blake, Stallworth and maybe Lutz, who do we have at the WR position as an actual threat?

I know right. This gets me more excited the more I read. I told you there was something to this Prosch kid coming to Auburn. Lefty is gonna do well at Auburn and bring back to Auburn more a smash mouth run game that we're use to and add a vertical passing game that has plagued Auburn for sometime.

Also, I'd be willing to bet Snaggles left nut that Lefty brings in his own prototype QB next cruiten year.

Wow, short memories round here.  Todd averaged nearly 8 yards per attempt, which would have probably put him in the top ten in that category of passing.  Cam lead the nation with 10.19 yards per attempt.

I recall folks round here bitching at times that all we did was throw the bomb, and whining about a lack of "intermediate passing game" under Malzahn.

No actually its called a long term memory. While there was a two year span with Malzahn at the helm that we had a pretty decent long pass game, there have been many many years that Auburn was lacking. I know that some of those years because we may have just lacked a QB to make it happen, I'll give you that.

Thus far Reed hasn't lived up to the hype but most of that can be contributed to injuries. I would def add him to that list though.

I expect to see a huge impact from Tray Blackmon this year at the LB spot.

After a medical hardship, a medical redshirt and two regular redshirts I think Tray is ready for play. He should be a goodn'.

With Raven Gray coming off the end, this D will be a force to be reckoned with.

Did you hear about this Brandon Jacobs kid? I'm hearing he is like a 6'6 275 RB.

I read somewhere that he runs a 3.8 40, bench presses the team bus and squats whenever and whatever he wants to.

Whoa..I take exception to that one.  Our backfield was too crowded.  I believe he would have been a force to be recokened with, if we hadn't had Carnell and Ronnie.

Yep.  He would have been one of the best recokened players we ever had.

Being serious, your absolutely right but I was playing the Snaggle no nonsense theme. He is always so serious.
