And has any coach done more to squander 10 straight top 10 recruiting classes than Richt? Guy has had enough talent to win 2-3 MNC's. If anything, he's underachieved. I think Townhall's thread title pretty much sums it up.

I still say that Peterson and Patterson are underrated coaches. What they get out of their players is amazing considering they both have a roster full of mainly 2 star players. I think Gundy is a damn good coach too. OSU hasn't historically gotten the same blue chippers out of HS that Texas and OU but look at how well they develop under him.

It's gotten beyond that in it's ridiculousness.  It's a"you're only as good as your last game" during the season, and "you're only as good as your last season" after, and until the next one starts.  Fucking ludicrous.

I mean so Chizik won a National Championship and his overall record is 30-10 at Auburn. I mean he was terrible at ISU.  (Actually Paul Rhodes needs to be on that list too IMO).  I mean Sumlin beat Penn State this year in a bowl...PENN STATE, they were clearly a great team this year with no distractions. Larry Fedora ...way better than Chizik not only did he beat Sumlin and  Houston but he played in a Beef O'Brady's Bowl.  Mike London waaaay better than Chizik, even though Chizik won the game we all know that Gus was the real Coach.

Actually your WTF against Mark Dantonio is the only one I disagree with you on.  He should be on the list.  Agree on the rest though.

With him, it's more in relation to Chiz not being on there and him being.  In and of itself, I don't disagree that he's a good coach, and "top 25" whatever the hell that means anyway.
