AUBURN, Alabama -- Indications are Auburn tailback Onterio McCalebb will return for his senior season after flirting with possibility of leaving early for the NFL.

An announcement could come today.

McCalebb would return as Auburn's leading rusher, now that Mike Dyer has transferred to Arkansas State.

McCalebb would be the second Auburn junior to forgo a chance in the NFL draft. Tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen said Sunday he would return to the Tigers. Auburn wide receiver Emory Blake is also expected back for his senior year.

McCalebb rushed for 641 yards and five touchdowns in 2011, second to Dyer's 1,242 yards and 10 touchdowns. McCalebb was also Auburn's second leading receiver with 32 catches for 344 yards and two touchdowns; and was second in kickoff returns with a touchdown.

McCalebb rushed for 109 yards on only 10 carries in a 43-24 Chick-fil-A Bowl win over Virginia. Dyer missed the game after being suspended for violation of team rules.

Blake led Auburn with 36 catches for 613 yards and five touchdowns. Lutzenkirchen was third in catches with 24 catches for 238 yards and seven touchdowns.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

Don't know why he and Lutz would decide to stay what with the wheels coming off, and the program in a complete shambles and all.

Especially since Arkansas State clearly has scholarships to give.

Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall said, "Guys don't mind hitting Michael Vick in the open field, but when you see Cam, you have to think about how you're going to tackle him. He's like a big tight end coming at you."

I think I agree but with Lutz and Ontario coming back as well is great news. Thats some good senior leadership that is very much needed.

Three offensive lynchpins all foregoing the draft...might they know something about our next OC that we do not?

Honestly, I don't get Lutz coming back at all, but maybe he was told something about his game that I don't see.  The athletic TE is really making a surge in the NFL and I would have thought he'd have been told he'd be a first day guy.

You meet a man on the Oregon Trail. He tells you his name is Terry. You laugh and tell him: "That's a girl's name!" Terry shoots you. You have died of dissin' Terry.

I thought someone said something about his blocking and he needs to improve it?   Maybe I dreamed that up.
