Steroids are a baseball thing, not a D-I football drug anymore.  I can honestly say that I never suspected anybody on the football team in college of using steroids.  Most of our bench press maxes went up about 100 lbs. during our careers, which isn't hard to do when you have mandatory "voluntary" workouts everyday.  The only drug used on most football teams is weed, and it's used a lot.
Yeah, you don't have a fuckin clue....(btw, if my bench max went up 100lbs from my HS Senior #s...I would've been pushing over 530lbs)

Also, at Miles College we had Kickers and Deep Snappers juicin'.

Another thing, man tits is a sign of the body not producing enough testosterone...it can be the result of using too much of the testosterone steriods and then stopping. Your body is used to having the testosterone being pumped in that it stops producing it. There are testosterone drugs that can be picked up at GNC to help kick start your body into producing it again.

Not all steroids are going to make you jacked up and pack on 20lbs of muscle in two months or give you superhuman strength.   Plus genetics have a lot to do with it.  Just sayin.

Now do I think players are juicing, damn right they are, more than we want to admit.

Maybe I am naive but I disagree.  I don't think they are.

There is too much drug testing in the NFL, and I doubt all these college kids suddenly get to the next level and drop the juice.  Honestly, I think technology has advanced supplements and the strength and conditioning coaches are the unheralded key to a lot of teams.

I agree.  This is what happens when you are juicing too much in college and then get to the NFL and mandatory random drug testing.

I juiced back in the 90's.  Used to love the orange/banana/strawberry combo but the clean up of the juicer afterward was a hassle.

This guy knows.

In my peak days in the gym, there were many who were juicing and it was public fact. They openly discussed how many shots and cc's of different ones they took and the combos of each. They had gym bags with 5-10 supplements from GNC, staying at the gym for hours at a time. Not to sound like Hulk Hogan's cheesy ass, but I always ate right, worked hard and used some of my good genetics from my pops and was ahead of most of those guys for the most part through just pure will power and genetics a lot of times. I eventually got into powerlifting in my mid 20's and was able to actually compete with guys who used Perf Enhancers and bench shirts because of  genetics and diet. I thought those guys looked ridiculous with all the antics. (if youve never been to a powerlifting meet, its a real site to behold and that's not a good thing) I got out of that stuff about 4 years ago when I started having joint issues and I don't really miss it a bit because of those types of guys. Going from 218 to 179 made me a lot healthier as well. Ive always hated the roid heads. Some of them are obvious like the guy in the USC picture but some are not because of piss poor genetics and other things.

In short, Trent is def a genetic freak, but I am also pretty sure he is getting a little help. Most guys that add 100+ lbs to their bench in 1-2 years weren't already at a high level like him. Its usually guys like had an avg or below avg bench to begin with. The higher you get, the harder it is to set PR's. Same with any other sport.

Yep, football players are juicing.  LOTS.

I even worked with cops that juiced.  Several at a neighboring dept. got popped for it, one guy twice.

A guy I know here that works with the Sheriff's Dept said he used to be with the Sheriff's Dept. in Jacksonville, Fla.  He said they almost required them to juice....without officially requiring it.  Many years ago, obviously. But, he was straightforward about the fact that everyone juiced and they wanted their guys working out, pumped up and on edge at all times.

This guy was a true to life bad mofo too.

A lot of the guys I mentioned overhearing in the gym back in the day were cops/firefighters. Most of them still do it around here from what I have heard from others.

I have often wondered how someone like Ronnie Coleman got away with it.  It's obvious, but yet he has never been busted for it.

Jim can explain further or Token maybe, but I don't think it is THAT much of a crime to actually have them or do them. Distribution is more the serious crime. Remember, they are technically prescription drugs. It seems like the crime for having them would be just in posession of them w/o a script. Again, they know more about that than me. I think most cops have bigger fish to fry than roid users.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

I've never had a case of the roids, so I don't know for sure.  Based on the guys I knew at the other dept. that got popped...they all had them legally, through scrips, but it was the doctor that got his ass in a sling with the medical board for all the cops that he said had "low testosterone".  My bet is, the majority of the folks using, have a scrip from an unsavory doc.

But yeah, I think they're Sched. III
