(1982 - 1988) - At multiple High Schools stops in Florida, including Boca Raton Academy, he posted a total Head Coaching record of 52-16 (named "Coach of the Year" on multiple occasions). His 1987 American Heritage School was ranked #1 in the State of Florida.

(1989 - 1992) - Assistant Coach at Grand Valley State University, his first collegiate job.

(1992 - 1994) - Head Coach of Wayne State University ('93 & '94 WSU posted their first winning records, of 6-5, in more than a decade)

(1995 - 1996) - LB Coach / SP Teams Coordinator at UCF (1996 moved up to DI from DI-AA. Defense gave up 23.6ppg)

(1997) - Assistant HC / Defensive Coordinator at UCF (Defense gave up 27.4 ppg, HC was fired at the end of the season)

(1998 - 1999) - DC at Central Michigan ('98 Defense gave up 23ppg, '99 the HC was fired at the end of the season)

(2000) - DC at Western Illinois (Ranked 8th in Pass Efficency Defense, 12th in Pass Defense, 12th in Total Defense, allowed 17.6 ppg)

(2001 - 2004) - DC at UGA (during his tenure, six of CBVG's players were selected in the first two rounds of the NFL Draft)

(2005) - LB Coach with the Jacksonville Jaguars, his first NFL gig.

(2006) - HC at Georgia Southern

(2007) - LB Coach with the Atlanta Falcons

(2008 - 2011) - DC with the Atlanta Falcons

(2012 - Present) - DC / LB Coach at Auburn

Nah. I could give two shits about one game. I do however give a shit that his his pass defense has never been better than the bottom two thirds of the league.

Maybe that means very little but it is what caught my eye mainly because I am tired of seeing us defend the pass with our backs turned.

Of course the flip side to this is that if the DL and LB's are good enough the QB cannot throw a pass from the horizontal position.
