Robert Leff OL 6'6" 260lbs Fairhope, Ala (4 Grillz)

I really, really like this kid, he reminds me of my brother in the way that he plays. He has the build to put on 40-50lbs. of good weight & it's a position of dire need. Fuck Yeah Mutha Fucka!!!!

I certainly hope so. I figured either the weekend recruiting was a complete bust or they just decided to fill Yeldon's spot with another OL.

Actually I think that is partly true from reading the cruiten gurus. Along with the OL already on board, I think the coaches are holding at least two more slots for more OL, one or two of which may be JUCO.

They got 9 spots to fill. For a while I was ok with it, but I'm worried now. How we finish will say a lot. I have no real problem with bringing in a big guy like this, but he's NOT going to be "tutored an developed" up to playing size for a couple of years. This kid is a RS, and RS Fr. year away from even seeing the field unless he maybe switches to defense.

How many 18 year olds you know are bigger than 6'6" 260?

The entire Auburn OL was that weight during the 2008 season.

I like it though. Usually those guys showed a lot of technique and athleticism in high school to get a scholarship offer despite the lack of size. If he can hold on to that while he bulks up and adds some more strength he could be a monster.

There are several that the Auburn coaches are after that fit that bill.
