I'm not going to tap dance while shooting fireworks off like 99% of the Auburn Fan Base, but I'm certainly not mad either.

But I am curious to find out some details. How the fuck did this go down? He didn't get fired, but he chose on his own accord to leave Auburn for the greener pastures of UCF in the same position?

The only explanation that makes sense is he was already fired behind closed doors, and Chizik protected his dignity by telling him to go ahead and start looking for a job now, and take whatever you can get.

It's exactly how I thought it would go down.

It's very rare to hear about coordinators being fired. They usually find a different job.
