Support the state
« on: December 05, 2011, 09:50:22 PM »
It's already started.  Guy I've known since the 80s was blabbing about Bama this, deserved that, blah blah blah.

I casually mentioned that I'd be 1000% LSU and hoped they stomped a red mudhole in their ass without the courtesy of walking it dry.

Indignation followed.  Why wouldn't I support a team from the state?  Couldn't I see how great it would be for a team from Alabama to win the title?

I reminded him that he was proudly sporting a Roll Ducks Roll shirt last year.  What about that?

His response?  Auburn clearly cheated to get there and he was supporting fairness last year.  Why did I have to be so bitter?

Oh, so it was fair to fuck OK State and its better overall resume over?  That was fair?  And it was fair for T-Town Tom to throw hundreds of thousands of dollars at Bama athletes? That was legal?

The conversation devolved into "fuck you's"

I tore up his Christmas card.  He's going to get the dogshit scented one now.

Lady I work with:

"This just proves that Alabama is better than Auburn.  Alabama would never be left out of the national championship.  The Bear built this program to win championships."

And it was fucking random.  Someone mentioned the SECCG and LSU, and she chimed in with that.

Some of these asshole bammers are just licking their chops to proclaim superiority.

The problem with Alabama fans is that 98% of them are like the guy you described above and everyone has to deal with everyday...

and the other 2% are like Token and RWS.

Tiz would be cool if we could get our names changed like the Florida game of 09.  Here is the LSU roster.

Had a bammer tell me yesterday how much better they were because "they were the only undefeated team in the last 5 years".  How fucking LOST is that shit?!?!  I couldn't respond.  I just just laughed at him.  Openly. Loudly.

Had one tell me yesterday this is the way it was supposed to be and we are back in our rightful place.  I asked him if he knew the head to head record, who had more SEC championships and who had the better overall record in my lifetime?   When I pointed all those out to him and then told him that we have been the better program since I was born he went ballistic.   Of course we have been cheating since then according to him.

I hate them and wish them nothing but misfortune in any endeavor they take.  Any.

At first, I was like, I hope they both lose. Now, I hope LSU beats the breaks off those pussies......and yes, a good bit of this is left over from last years resounding support we Auburn folks received from the bammers.

I was very quick to remind my UAT friends on Facebook that the large majority of them had "Go Ducks" avatars and Oregon logos all over their pages last year, so don't even try to give me any crap about pulling for LSU. One even had the audacity to post that he wondered how long the classless AU fans would start posting "Geux Tigers". I was quick to remind him about the big yellow "O" he had on his FB last year. When they try to bring up that "support the state crap", I ask them how come they not only did not support the state last year, but could not get over themselves enough to support the SEC as they were pulling for a PAC-10 team instead. At least with my pulling for LSU, I am still supporting the SEC. Needless to say, I have not gotten any intelligent responses except for a handful that said they were supporting AU last year. Of those handful, only two or three of them I actually know did support AU, and they were actual former UAT athletes of all people
