Ted Roof not been shown the door yet? Is there some reason his firing has not been announced? Seriously, every day that passes and no announcement has been made, I throw up in my mouth a little more. Please tell me Gene Chizik isn't entertaining any thoughts about keeping him. Please tell me there's a plan in place for a new DC. Please tell me that you have something more, Lieutenant. These two Marines are on trial for their lives. Please tell me their lawyer hasn't pinned their hopes to a phone bill.

Is there some reason he's not gone? Somebody, anybody......

I would hate to think that Chizik is dumb enough to hitch his career at AU to Ted Roof's falling star.

I tend to agree. He needs to fire the man or his ship may sink as well.

Are coordinators usually let go this early?

I can't think of any other coordinator in the country being fired right now. Seems to me that coordinators are very rarely fired. They usually "take another job."

Perhaps Roof is out interviewing as we speak.

If he is, then I'm seriously questioning Chizik.

It is my hope that he's waiting things out to see exactly the moves he has to make due to the likes of Luper, or Malzahn leaving for other jobs.

Could be he's taking the "Ted, you need to find a soft spot to land next season" approach, and waiting until after bowl season to make the move when everybody is free.

Fuck, I don't know, but he has to go.
