The Broncos are winning because of good D and in spite of Tebow, not because of him. Let's be honest.

And I like Tebow, btw. He's a good guy. But they are overhyping this winning streak and his impact on it.

They were in the fucking toilet before he took over.  I guess that good D didn't really kick in until late.

1-5 pre-Tebow. 5-1 with Tebow.

No shot at the playoffs without Tebow.  Second in the division, a game back of Oakland (who I hope chokes on a satchel of penises for signing Carson Palmer and shoving Jason aside).

Pffffttt.

Defense improved. Morale improved - probably because of him, no doubt. The numbers don't lie.  The D's ranking has improved since he took over. The O is about the same statistically. Plus have a look at the schedule. Don't kill the messenger douchebag.

So they're better with Tebow, top to bottom?  Well damn.

Yes he did but I remember there was an article that someone posted about this. The guy felt for Jason because the signing of Palmer all but assured Jason would not be with the team after this season. I hope that is not true.

Can't figure out why Jason seems to be instantly discounted everywhere he goes.  He has the size, is mobile enough, smart, and his QB rating is in the upper half of the league.

He's good enough.  He's smart enough.  But doggonit, people just don't like him.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

I don't think it he was really discounted this time.  Like somebody said, he just got hurt and the Raiders panicked thinking they could go far in the playoffs this year.

You meet a man on the Oregon Trail. He tells you his name is Terry. You laugh and tell him: "That's a girl's name!" Terry shoots you. You have died of dissin' Terry.

First off, they are 1-4 pre-tebow...not 1-5.

Second, what are you looking for on defensive stats? Points? That doesn't tell you the whole picture because of turnovers. A shitty offense can put the defense in shitty situations.

L  Oakland total   Yards given up 289   Points GU 23        Denver 3 TO's QB responsible for 2
W Cincinnati   Yards GU 382   Points GU 22        Denver TO's 2 QB responsible for 1
L Tennessee   Yards GU 333   Points 17       TO's 2 QB responsible for 2
L Green Bay   Yards GU 507   Points 49       TO's 4 QB responsible for 3
L San Diego Yards GU 418   Points GU 29      TO's 1...this is when Tebow came in. Orton threw 1 pick, Tebow-0
W Miami Yards GU 267   Points GU 15      TO's 1 QB responsible for 0
L Detroit YGU 376   Points GU 45     TO's 3 QB responsible for 2
W Oakland YGU 416   Points GU 24      TO's 0
W Kansas City YGU 258   Points 10      TO's 0
W NY Jets YGU 318  PGU 13      TO's 1 QB responsible for 0
W San Diego YGU 344   PGU 13     TO's 0

This goes to show the "defense doesn't play better just because Tebow is in the game". Denver has played Oakland and San Diego twice. Once with Tebow, once without. The main difference I see is TO's. It's not like the defense is playing lights out just because Tebow is there. I would say the defense is giving up less points because the offense is not giving the other team a short field. The only loss that Tebow has directly reflects that he was poor at the thing he is the best at...protecting the ball. Denver had 3 TO's in that game, but all other games they average less than 1. Prior to Tebow starting...the Broncos averaged around 3. That is a huge difference...

Used to love the Raiders. But Al is dead and this is their attitude now:

Quote

http://espn.go.com/espn/commentary/story/_/page/howard-111027/oakland-raiders-jason-campbell-unluckiest-player-nfl

As Campbell sat at home the day the trade was announced, his mind still clouded by post-surgery painkillers, he and his fiancée watched Palmer's hastily-thrown-together introductory press conference on TV and had to listen to this:

"The greatest trade in football," an absolutely giddy (Raider head coach Hue) Jackson said.

And a few days after that, this from Raiders offensive coordinator Al Saunders, who told a Bay Area radio station that the first day Palmer walked onto the practice field, everyone said, "You know what, this is a real quarterback."

FUCK the Raiders.
