So This One Time, At Band Camp....

Quick snippet from the pregame festivities Saturday.  The band has done their pregame show etc. and is marching over to line up for the team to come out.  I just happened to be paying attention to the Jumbotron and they zoomed in on a female cymbal player.  Just as they did, she holds one of them up high and brings it down by her head.  As it comes down, she starts seductively licking (Almost touching it) it from bottom to top. Some of the crowd caught it because I heard the laughter.  She just smiles and I thought..."This one time, at band camp....'

Had to be a senior not giving a rip because it may be her last time.  Auburn's band kicks ass.

I believe that this is a practical world and that I can count only on the marching band. Therefore, I believe in band, hard playin' sons-of-bitches.

I believe in musical notes, which gives me the knowledge to watch the band wisely and trains my mind and my hands to watch skillfully.

I believe in honesty and truthfulness, without which I cannot win the respect and confidence of my fellow band members.

I believe in sound , that sound resonates in the body and spirit that is not afraid, and in clean instruments that develop these qualities.

I believe in obedience to marching band laws because it protects the rights of all.

I believe in the instrument touch, which cultivates a symphony with my fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all.

I believe in my Country, because it is a land of freedom and because it is my own home, and that I can best serve that country by "doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with my God."

And because marching Auburn men and women believe in these things, I believe in Auburn and love it.
