Holy shiotsky. Climpsum gets a huge point and laugh for that. Okay, what's the deal on the ACC scheduling? Did they switch it around this year. I try to go to the FSU/Duke game every year it's in Tallahassee (Had a conflict this year). For a few years there, they stopped the home and home and just played each other one time. This year, they went back to home and home. Realign divisions? I know the SEC did away with divisions this year. The only thing that did was put Auburn that much closer to the bottom.
It's a Byzantine arrangement. UNC only played FSU once this year at FSU; I suspicion that the same arrangement was made for Duke. The Tarheels (and Duke) only repeat play with five or so rivals within the ACC during regular season and the locations alternate between the institutions. The same rotation occurs with teams that only meet once except they change locations seasonally. This year the Tarheels hosted Clemson; next year they will host us, for example; and the teams will meet just once during regular season. Our five repeat rivals are Duke, Maryland, Miami, Virginia, and NC State. Some seasons Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, and Georgia Tech are mixed in that five (with others taken out such as Miami and Virginia). Like I wrote, it's a Byzantine arrangement.
