If you're not watching this show on Showtime (right after Dexter) you're fucking up.

I was a little on the fence before tonight while trying to figure it out, but tonight's episode was top shelf.

Claire Danes is a little too breezy and boozy for me to take her seriously in the role of crack analyst/spy and she was the weakest part of tonight's show. But the rest of the cast is pretty good. She's not bad and I do find her oddly sexy in a gawky way.

Interesting story and it's told pretty well.

Do NOT watch tonight's episode unless you've backfilled from the beginning.

Tonights show was kick ass, I had no idea it would turn out this way. The drunk parts were pretty damn weak.

The face she was making at the table when he was telling his story is what threw me. She looked like a bird.

I don't think we're done with Brody's involvement either. There are gaps.

Tonight's show definitely paid off the first few episodes.

Hope Boss (Frasiers's new show on Starz) also has a payoff episode pretty quickly.

Just got to watch Sunday's episode.

Another fucking outstanding effort. Fucking outstanding.

I like this show more and more every week. Watch 20 minutes of this and compare it to four hours of Walking Dead. Homeland beats the dogshit out of Dead. Beats the utter dogshit out of it.

I fucked up and canceled Showtime a while back when this show was starting up. Do they show the reruns? I decided Showtime was actually worth and just picked it back up last week. If they do I may set it to record all episodes and give it a watch.

It left me a little flat.

Dexter, on the other hand, paid off a blase storyline and tepid acting (ruining the series, frankly) with a final 30 seconds that you saw coming from a mile away but still went "oh damn. what now?"

Opens crazy doors for another Dexter season.

Part of me wanted him to hit the switch in the safe room. Talk about a fantastic ending. Of course, it would kill the series, but damn that would have been sweet.
