With losses to #1, #6, #7, and #14, the computers love some Auburn.  I think only one computer has Auburn UR while the best has Auburn at 15.

And honestly, if I were a computer and only cared about about the W/L and not how the games looked or final scores, I'd probably have Auburn ranked around 20.  That's a hell of a schedule.  I can't imagine a lot of other teams NOT having those same 4 losses if they played Auburn's schedule.

The teams we've lost to have a combined four losses among them if I count right.  That's pretty strong mojo. All four losses ass rapings have been on the road.  That's likely to change in two weeks when we get donkey fucked at home by Suit U, but assuming we get by Stanford, Samford whatever, and lose to Thugs R U we'll have five losses to teams with a combined six losses (because Arky or LSU has to lose).

Honestly we're about where I expected us to be in terms of the W/L record.  It's the way we've W and L that has turned my insides to slush.

I was sort of ok with it all...until the UGA beatdown.  Didn't see that coming at all.  It was disappointing, and embarrassing.

A disturbing pattern to me is what I perceive to be quitting.  Maybe that's a strong word and yes, it's only my perception, but in 3 of the 4 losses, I was saying the same thing.  When the tables started turning at Clemson, it appaeared they just quit trying and played out the string, even though they still had some opportunities.  They showed very little fight against LSU once they got down and at UGay, wow.

There were a couple of opportunities that didn't go their way Saturday, the first one being on the very first drive.  They clearly stopped the runner short of the first down and even Danielson kept saying he was surprised that wasn't reviewed because the runner didn't come close.  We didn't get the 3 and out and UGay promptly ran down the field and scored.  The second was obviously the fumble recovery.  Down 14-7 with momentum going UGay's way, we get the ball back around midfield and decide..naaa...we don't want it.

No, I don't think we beat that team under any circumstances Saturday, but a couple of breaks here and there would have given this team a fighting chance.  As it was, once things started going down hill, it looked like Auburn laid down.  1 punt the entire game.  ONE.

It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Couldn't believe it myself. I did not even pay attention to the poll releases yesterday assuming we would not be ranked. I was just sitting here a few minutes ago watching ESNU and they were talking about UAT's remaining schedule and it has a 24 beside Auburn. I thought that must be a typo or something and went to check the rankings thinking there was no way we are still ranked. Sure enough the BCS has us at #24....wow! Like somebody said, the computers must love the thumpings we have gotten from some of the ranked teams we played.

I agree with Snaggle. During the gameday chat over at AUN on Saturday, I made the comment that it just seems like this team loses any fire and will to keep going when things start turning. I think Emory Blake said it best when he said the leaders of the team have to step up when things start going bad.

24 is the number of points they predict us to give up in the first half against Samford.
