Honestly, this GA should be fired as well. Even though he probably put in more effort to stop this than anybody else involved, anything short of going to the police when the administration did not is unacceptable IMO. In a way, it's worse than Joe Pa not following through, because this guy actually saw it happen.

It's not "worse in a way" it's worse PERIOD. Why? Because we don't know what he told Paterno. Everybody wants to assume he did, but that's not in evidence at all.
Given that Sandusky was his boss, given that he didn't call the cops or punch Sandusky out, given that he went to his dad and asked advice on what to do, it's highly probable that he kept the details to himself and/or minimized it when he did later make the report.
Should have been fired with or before Paterno.
