Bama has to hope Auburn wins this weekend and moves up as well.

This would actually help bama in two ways, both since the IB is just around the corner and since Oregon has already beaten the Dawgs. I would think that by Georgia losing at home to Auburn would make the Ducks win look less to the voters.

Umm...I agree with all but two words of your post.  It was Boise that beat the dawggies.

I think whoever wins that game jumps Bama. I know Stanford is 9-0, and I guess that is your reasoning for saying they should be ahead of Alabama right now. But fuck, Houston is undefeated as well. Why aren't they ahead of Bama? There are 6 one loss teams ahead of them in the BCS for a reason.

They don't have a worth a shit strength of schedule. All bullshit aside, do you honestly think a 9-0 Stanford is a better team than an 8-1 Alabama?
All bullshit aside, they're kicking the shit out of weaker competition. But that's the way the system works. What's weaker competition is objective. They're record is not. As I said, I've always been on the "fuck Boise" bandwagon, but this time they should get in. This time they put up and beat a "good" SEC team. The impending East Champions. Houston's still a different story. There's literally not a damn team on their schedule besides UCLA, and that's not amazing. I can can understand them behind many of the 1-loss teams, namely Oregon, Oklahoma, and Bama. Maybe even Arkansas. Clemson and Virginia Tech shouldn't be, IMO.

Which solidifies what I'm saying.

Stanford should be ahead of Bama.

If Oregon wins, they should jump Bama.

Neither is the case, unfortunately.

I'm not a BCS guru, but according to Cecil Hurt, if Stanford wins out they WILL eventually jump bammer.

Its simple really, if Stanford beats Oregon and beats them good, they have done something LSU did.

Point for Stanford.
