Boise is undefeated with a win against the team that has locked up a division of the SEC. And they beat them good. They've got to get in line behind the unbeatens. Hell Houston should probably be up there. The only thing hurting them is Cal is their best win, which is sad. To me, that's different than a team that has beaten the SEC East Champion. I've been anti-Boise for years, but this is the year I feel like if they're one of 2 or less unbeatens (not counting Houston), then they should be in the game.

Sorry, but I hate Boise.  They said they were trying to improve their conference standing last year by moving to the Mountain West.  Really?  Did they apply for any AQ conference?  Fuck them.  I really want bammer and them to play in the Sugar Bowl because I think bammer (unless they have a Utah moment) would beat them like rented mules.  Then there would be no more talk about Boise being considered a legit BCS title contender.  Boise would see that they would have no chance in a real conference.  Just think how Oregon feels right now.  They are fucking 0-2 in SEC West play in their last two meetings with SEC West teams.  How have they done against non-SEC teams the last two years?

All I'm really hoping for now is bammer to play Boise in a bowl game.

I would love to see this.

You Boise haters, and the fact their stock has fallen is a big part of why bammer onlt fell to #3 in the BCS..

Wait, I called you three times, specifically to get your vote and ask what you would do.  You never called back.

Georgia is their only quality win.

Once Auburn wins this weekend in Athens, that will no longer be considered quality.

So, you're saying you'd rather see bammer get the dream rematch, than an undefeated Boise?  You hate Boise that much?

Y'all do know that Stanford is still in this, don't you?  I don't see anyone left on their schedule that is a challenge other than Oregon, and Andrew Luck is the pre-ordained Heisman winner even if Richardson had not shit the bed this past weekend.

So fuck Boise - if LSU, OK State, Stanford and Boise run the table, LSU and Stanford play.  No way does Luck get left out.

Not Okie Lite? They appear more dominant than Stanford. But yeah, I agree on Luck.

So here's the BCS standings.  Oops, didn't copy the whole thing at the top.  The first three numbers are where they are in the Harris, USAToday and some other poll.  Anywho...Bama sits third with .8836 with Stanford close behind at .8749.  Now, I have no clue how all this is figured but I do know strength of schedule figures heavily into the equation.  So, if those two are that close and Stanford plays the #7 BCS team, wouldn't you logically expect a jump to 3rd with a win?

1. LSU 1 1 t1 0.9931

2. Oklahoma St. 2 3 t1 0.9447

3. Alabama 4 4 3 0.8836

4. Stanford 3 2 7 0.8749

5. Boise St. 5 5 t4 0.8473

6. Oklahoma 7 7 t4 0.7978

7. Oregon 6 6 8 0.7708

8. Arkansas 8 8 6 0.7452

9. Clemson 9 10 9 0.6435

10. Virginia Tech 10 9 14 0.59132

Okie State has to beat Oklahoma, who just lost their best WR for the season.
Stanford gets Oregon this weekend at home.

If they both win these games, I suspect Okie State gets in.  If either loses, the other will be in the MNC game.  The real question would be that if they both lose these games, would Oklahoma or Oregon be in a position to still jump alabama?

IF I understand the BCS points system, as it stands, and with the remaining schedule, Stanford has no chance of catching bammer if bammer runs the table.  I could be wrong, but they're way behind.

Sorry Snaggs.  I was busy.

Stanford is going to lose to Oregon this weekend and if not, I'm not sure how the PAC14 is set up.  Would the Cardinal have to play USC in a championship game?  If so, I don't think they would win that rematch.

OSU is the only team that I see being able to make it through, and I'm not sold on them beating OU.  Is there still a championship game in the Big12?  If so, would they have a rematch with KState?

If Stanford beats Oregon, they will most certainly jump Alabama. I think Oregon will win that one, though.

Which solidifies what I'm saying.

Stanford should be ahead of Bama.

If Oregon wins, they should jump Bama.

Neither is the case, unfortunately.

Bama has to hope Auburn wins this weekend and moves up as well.  Even so, that Samford win will vault us into the top 10 with ease.

I think whoever wins that game jumps Bama. I know Stanford is 9-0, and I guess that is your reasoning for saying they should be ahead of Alabama right now. But fuck, Houston is undefeated as well. Why aren't they ahead of Bama? There are 6 one loss teams ahead of them in the BCS for a reason.

They don't have a worth a shit strength of schedule. All bullshit aside, do you honestly think a 9-0 Stanford is a better team than an 8-1 Alabama?
