I think that's the LSU fan being a dickhead. 

I've been in situations at football games where this type of shit's almost broken out.  I'm really glad I've never actually had to deal with a brawl.

The closest I have ever been to wanting to bash in the skulls of a visiting team's fans is at every LSU game. They go looking for fights, so it does not surprise me that this happened at their next of kins' place. Two fan bases that have a culture that like to drink and fight...go figure.
