Obviously, much has been made about how young this team is and there's no doubt they lost more experience last year than any D1 team in America. How about this year? Who's gone....who might go and which losses affect us the most? Looking at the roster, Auburn has the following players listed as seniors. I'll list them in the order of who I think will be the biggest loss.
Josh Harris - Deep Snapper - DUH!!!
Eltoro Freeman: If this past week is any indication of how he's finally "gotten it", this may be the biggest loss of all. (Behind deep snapper, of course)
Brandon Moseley: Not sure he has a future playing on Sundays but losing what amounts to a 2 year starter at tackle has to hurt some.
AJ Green: Another starting tackle. meh
Jared Cooper: Finally started a few games at guard before being out for the season. Double meh
Quanstaviacious Carr: A 17th year, redshirt senior with 1.6 career catches.
Drew Cole: Yes, I put him ahead of Neiko
Neiko Torched: I....I can't waste the keystrokes.
The rest of the list looks like this:
Chris Brooks
Chris Humphries
Davis Hooper
Nathan Taylor
Ashton Richardson
Bobby Ingalls
Sam Brown
Now, after looking at that list, the two guys that could very well jet early would definitely hurt Auburn the most...by a long shot. Phillip Frutzenschlupen - inator and Emory Blake.
If Chiz keeps those two in the fold, 2012 starts looking fairly promising. Any others?
