sorry, to piss in your cheerios, but those guys will make the braves a third if not fourth place team in the NL East.   the braves must clean house over the next two seasons...

mccann...i like the guy, but being a catcher just doesn't bode well for many more productive years...started in 2011.
Are you drunk or retarded?

We dumped those two so we could pick up Pujols.

Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall said, "Guys don't mind hitting Michael Vick in the open field, but when you see Cam, you have to think about how you're going to tackle him. He's like a big tight end coming at you."

You don't want to pick up Rollins and Fielder just because you can?

I didn't want to announce anything until they got further along in negotiations.  Since Fielder is such a head case, we're trying to package Howard with Rollins in exchange for Brooks Conrad and a minor league player to be named later. The sticking point is Philly wants a 3rd round pick in the 2015 draft.

With such crack negotiation skills, I'm shocked you didn't get a used rosin bag for Lowe along with spit out sun flower seeds.

I am reading that my O's are going to go after CJ Wilson and Fielder hard.   Praying this happens.  More so Wilson than Fielder, but if we are going to buy hitting, then I want someone like Fielder.

CJ didn't pitch that bad in the series.

5.2 IP in game 1, 3 ER, 6BB, 4H, 4K
5.1 IP in game 5, 1 ER, 5BB, 4H, 3K
1.1 IP in game 7, 0 ER, 0 BB, 0H, 2 K

I've heard a lot of Rangers fans blasting him, and sure, the walks were high, but those numbers aren't terrible.

If Cards lose Pujols, they could afford to go after Fielder, and maybe shore up the middle infield.

Why are you crushing my dreams?  Do you hate me that much?

Actually I have thought Wilson's numbers were good for the entire year and they weren't that bad last year either.  We need pitchers, at least two that are better than sub-par.

Wilson had top of the rotation stuff.  Rangers fans just want to make him to the the scape goat, I guess.  Only question I have for the series is why Neftali Feliz didn't come back in for the bottom of the 10th in game 6.  Facing the 7-8-9 hitters in the lineup.

I think Francona would be a good fit in St. Louis.  I honestly hoped the Cubs would go ahead and cut bait with Quade so they could go after him, but it is looking less and less likely at this point.
