I hate the Crown games this week because just about every team I like is on the road. There are some sneaky good match ups that don't look like much at first glance. 99 out of 100 years, you'd predeict Chokelahoma to throttle K-State. I picked OU but show of hands for those who realize K-State is still undefeated and have the Sooners at their place this weekend. Same type thing for Stanford and USC. Stanford is undefeated, they have the greatest QB ever to grace the college football world. USC is shackled with probation and obviously no match for the Cardinal. Another show of hands for those who know teh Condoms have quietly gone 6-1. Just sayin'.....
In our neck of the woods, not a lot of Bizz Markee matchups, including Ole Mrs. coming to Auburn. But, I'll be there stressing like it's for all the marbles. The fact is, Ole Mrs. sux but they have an athletic QB who is going to make life interesting Saturday, mainly because while our D seems to be progressing, our offense has taken 8 giant steps back in recent weeks. And Emory "Don't know if I can go" Blake is still 50/50. I still think we have enough to stay in control of this game and playing at home is a huge plus. Good guys by 10.
The world's largest outdoor cocktail party is the only other relatively interesting game in the SEC. After 2 losses to open the season, Georgia has looked just average enough to come out ahead in the rest of their games. Florida has taken 12 giant steps back but word is, Brantley may be back. He sux but he's still a big improvement over the schleps Florida has had back there since his injury. I believe Florida has won 12 of the last 15 meetings and just always seems to have Jawja's number. Still going with the Dawgs to again, play just average enough to slip by.
In other games, Bama doesn't play. Therefore, they will claim a shut out and lower their points allowed per game.
