$40 is my threshold for pain too when it comes to buying a bottle. If I spend more than that I get that "You're fuckin' drunk and you spent too much money" look from the skirt. Most of the stores keep handles of the good stuff on sale right around the $38-$40 range. I'm still working my way through the handle of Maker's I got at the beginning of the season. It tends to last a little longer when I mix it with my coke product of choice, Sprite Zero.

For heavy drinking days, like every Saturday during the fall, I have to cut the burbz a little bit. Never do I mix the primo burbz or scotch. I have limits.

Alright, I do have a bottle of teh Haydens I picked up last night. But, I need to know what is going to bring the mojo for the game tomorrow. Not sure if I can risk Auburn game mojo on an untested burrbinz. Going by the lick her store when I get off so I need suggestions. I've done good and bad this year on Makers and you can't go wrong there. But what particular batch will push me and Auburn towards winning tomorrow?

Tough call. It has been Eagle Rare on Friday night and Makers Mark on game day for me this year. Last year I drank a lot of "Apple Pie" during the season.

My bottle of Maker's and Trotter have us at 5-2 this year. I say Woodford for a change of pace, the wood can be the Moseley of bourbon.

Apple Pie, 1/2 gallon of Apple Cider, 1/2 gallon of Apple Juice, pour in a stock pot add about 6 to 10 cinnamon sticks, bring it to a boil, when it starts to boil add a 750ml bottle of Everclear and remove from the heat and stir it up real good. Strain to get the trash created from the cinnamon sticks, pour back into the bottles and let it rest in the fridge for a couple of days. Shit taste delicious, a lot like an apple pie, hence the name, but be careful, you can't taste the Everclear and it will get you in shitloads of trouble if you let it get out of hand and make you wonder why you woke up in a chair on the patio at 6AM as you are still dizzy and sick <----- speaks from experience.

I was extremely hungover and sick on Tuesday Jan 11, 2011. 2 of us polished off half a gallon of it, then decided since we were out we needed to drink up what was left of the Makers Mark..........I remember waking up at 3AM and the room was spinning as fast as the ceiling fan. Knob is frickin' $48.00 there. Down at the beach, I can get the same bottle for $32.00 - $36.00. Been hitting a lot of Woodford lately. Sweet stuff.

Next day I stopped by my lick her store and had the little vixen hold up a bottle of Maker's. Isent it to him with the same caption.
