Hoops Madness

Yeah, this belongs in the basketball forum, but no one goes there,1 especially this time of year.

This is goin down on Friday. Charles Barkley, John Mengelt & Marquis Daniels to host the dunk contest, followed by a scrimmage.

Admission is free.

Anyone know what time this is? Probably won't make it to town til close to midnight, which is when Midnight Madness should be...

You know how most schools have Midnight Madness that starts at 12:00?  Well what happens if you want your Madness even madder?  Where do you go?  That's why we changed all the clocks on campus to add a 13 to them.  So our Midnight Madness will be at straight up 13:00 (probably 1:00 am if you are judging by your watch).

For the record, they're not marketing it as "Midnight Madness", but rather "Hoops Madness", which is why I think it might be earlier.

My guess is all the hoopla will start around 7 or 8 and the actual practice at Midnight since thats the NCAA rule.
