TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- After running a career-high 29 times for a career-high 181 yards Saturday in a 38-10 victory at Florida, Alabama running back Trent Richardson ran off the field with a huge smile.

He said it was one of his happiest moments ever.

In this video, among other things, he talks about that and the fact that he is in the running for the Heisman Trophy.

Yes, it will be epic!  Nobody in the mullet nation thinks there's a single chink in the armor. They're fucking unbeatable.  I seem to recall a similar mindset as they departed for Columbia last year.

Vandy has looked very un-Vandy like so far under James Franklin.

Beat the shit outta the Rebel Ackbars. As we all know, that's not saying a whole lot, but they are the only team so far that put a four score ass-whooping on them, including Georgia. They lost to SC, but it was a respectable game. Vandy was winning after the first quarter. They got a bye week last week to lick the wounds of their only loss so far. We all know Bama thinks they can cake-walk from here to Baton Rouge, maybe only keeping an eye on Tennessee. Of course the mighty Tide isn't thinking twice about lowly Vanderbilt.

Not saying it'll happen, but if Bama's going to drop a game other than LSU to an "inferior" opponent, all of the elements are there for Vandy to have about as good a chance as any.

I started having the "Vandy over Bama in Tuscaloosa" thoughts too.

It's just not going to happen. 

It's Vandy (took their best team to barely win against Auburn's worst team playing in Nashville).  It's Bama (stout defense, stout running game, good punt returner).  It's in Tuscaloosa (it takes six months of conditioning to get used to breathing in the pollution).

This is a taylor made game for the Bama Game Script. 

Undermatched team scores early.  Plays "tough" defense, while really just allowing Bama to eat an entire century off the clock to get a field goal.  Game slows down to a crawl on both sides.  Bama then hits big play on offense to take lead.  Opposing team makes field goal.  Bama defense then gets their obligatory pick six, and or fumble recovery for a TD.  Game then slides slowly away, but a huge humilating 10 point win that proves they are just the most dominant thing since the Indonesian Tsunami.

We've seen this. We'll see it again on Saturday.
