It may do it, but it does it in a vastly more sucky manner.
. . .
I suppose this is all personal preference but with the two sitting in the same room and operating essentially side by side there really is no comparison. XBox is a kid's game. It treats everything like it's for a kid. PS3 is a man's tool.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you just got the Xbox? And you have MW3? And you haven't played it online? Basically, from some of your other posts, I get the impression that the Xbox is not only new to you, but that you haven't exactly used many of its features.
You might as well drive an El Camino at 100mph on the interstate and rave about its performance, but then bitch about the lack of horsepower from the new Charger after driving it at 10mph on back roads.
And you can't pay for anything. It's all in that silly ass "points" shit. It's worse than Mexican money. How much is a peso to a dollar? Depends on what you buy. You have to do some conversion shit. I find it annoying and ridiculous. On PS3 if I want a new Rocksmith song I know out the gate it's $1.99, it's not 480 BlipperChips (and who knows how much that is?)
Meh. It's not that difficult. I load my account with $40. It doesn't matter if it tells me that I then have 18,000 ancient Sumerian foreskins; I know it's $40, and I can pretty easily estimate prices from there and can tell how much I have left.
Sure, if you just want to make a purchase here and a purchase there, and not load your account with money, then it makes it harder to know what you're spending for each purchase. But if you've got a credit or debit card tied to your PS3 Network account, then you've already got problems as it is. I don't tie financial accounts to services like that if I don't have to, and I sure as hell am not going to do so with the PS3 Network.
Kinect? Silly ass shit you ask me. It's like that cool thing that's fun to do one time (in your case sex) but after that it sort of becomes meaningless and pointless.
Yeah, PS3 Move is a little goofy because you have to have the wands but when/if they come out with their version of Kinect it will beat the bleeding nutcracker out of Xbox. Move takes much less space, too. My kids want to play Move games I don't have to rearrange the entire room. Kinect games? Got to clear furniture out. Too much hassle.
So, the Kinect's motion games/tasks are "silly ass shit" that you only do once, but the Move is fun times for kids time and time again? And although the Kinect is "silly ass shit," the PS3's future version of it will be awesome?
Either motion technology incorporated into the control of the console and of games is worthwhile, or it's not. I don't see how it's "silly ass shit" on one console, but the exact same technology will be worthwhile and totally awesome once PS3 adapts it.
