But I think part of some people's point is that Clemson had alot of youth on both sides of the ball as well. Shit, their QB is a true frosh. Granted, that bastard might win a Heisman in a few years. But still. Auburn has more talent than Clemson.

I agree, it's not all youth and inexperience as the problem. But, as I said earlier, the Defensive playcalling should be adjusted...let that talent play. I 've said before, we have one too many shoulder bumpers.

My comments earlier were tongue in cheek due to last week when JR wanted to get rid of Roof, somebody came back with the "he keeps winning" comment. The defense under Roof has Ben shaky as he'll for 3 seasons now. I just can't see keeping this and praying for another Cam to carry us.

What irritates me more that shitty defensive play is the schism that immediately opens. 

If you say the defense sucks and express unhappiness with the current trend there is a subset of our base that instantly

a) Says you're acting like a bammer
b) reminds you that we just won the NC
c) tells you to stay off the bandwagon you weren't wanted anyway
d) says you arent all in
e) says you're a bad fan
f) waves the Creed
g) makes excuses about youth (more freshmen and sophs on Clemson's offense than AU defense, BTW. Just as many on LSU's defense so...)

I got this earlier.......Really?  I can't call a spade a spade or I am being a bad fan or I am a bammer?  I know I take a shot or two at the bunker, but I was belittled in a thread for saying Jeff Lebo isn't getting it done and won't ever get it done.  Funny AU fired him at the end of that year and the same ones that talked down to me were the same ones that were saying "Jacbos made the right decision".....yada, yada, yada.   Fuck that noise.

Agree, all of the coaches have to take some blame for this, but Roof is the head man.   We are hurting at every position, nothing looked good today.
