I realize that the LSU - MSU game is being officiated by the worst rated crew in the SEC.  And I like an intense coach on the sidelines.  But Dan Mullen's red faced foul mouthed rants at the refs for every single call that does not go his way has passed intensity and translated directly into total douchery.

Auburn's offense is light years better than LSU's. 

LSU's defense is light years better than Auburn's.

The ESPN cameraman who said last night's Cowbell Yell was one of the best student events he’s seen in 25 years needs to get out more.

Yes, but you get what I am saying, there was a lot of back and forth scoring.  It wasn't like they dominated us and we had to sneak back in it.  It wasn't like we almost lost.   To listen to them tonight though, you would have thought it to be the case.

Talked to a guy deep in the MSU program today.  They all assume that as soon as Paterno leaves that's where he's headed. 

I asked him if he realized that Mullen was barely over .500 at State and he looked at me like I'd shit on his nose.

It was horrible for many reasons because at Florida Meyer/Mullen had a plethora of talent with Tebow and could run what they wanted. In Relf, you have a true one dimensional "QB" whose o-line is clearly outmatched and no threat to complete attempt two passes in a row because Mullen is a fucking genius with training wheels. The plan should have been roll-outs to offset the stacked box but instead Relf was used like a scout team crash-test dummy against a team that knew it would/could not be exploited in the air.
