"We will win a championship here at Mississippi State. It might be this year -- who knows? It might be next year, it might be the following year, it might take us 15 years. But we will win a championship here for the people of Mississippi."
Before you talk smack you need to at least beat ONE team in your division not named Ole Miss.
P.S. I remember Tommy Tuberville making this bold claim in late 2003 early 2004. But he, at least, had cred. He'd been to the SEC-CG. He'd beaten LSU, Georgia, Ole Miss, Vandy, Arkansas, Alabama, State and Florida at least once when he made that pronouncement.
Mullen? He's beaten Ole Miss. And Michigan. Which is Ole Miss in maize and blue.
Speaking of Michigan, they're gushing all over them and Denard this week. All he did was throw jump balls. The ND pass defense was atrocious. He lobbed balls into double and triple coverage and the ND defenders just stood there. Awful. Horrible. I like the Wolverines, but that's a bad team. That's a three or four win team in the SEC.
