Have any of you heard this before? Long speech, but surprisingly interesting.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Sorry to be so late replying back on this one CCTAU...been watching the speech in bits and pieces...very interesting indeed and worth hearing.

It truly is a shame that the Enviromentalist wacko's, the Glow-Bull worming cultists, and their followers on Capitol Hill in both political parties won't move forward on utilizing our own natural resources of oil and natural gas.  We would be a powerhouse in this regard because as America has proven time and time again nothing can stop the resolve and will of the American people once we're mobilized.  These damn environmentalists and glow-bull worming cultists are dead-set on the de-industrialization of America under the guise of helping Mother Gaia but they have an agenda too...they hate capitalism...they're still looking for that perfect, worker's paradise where we're all sub-servient to the State but I digress.

Anyway, great post...well worth hearing.
