She is in the county jail with bond set at $60,000.Jefferson County sheriff's deputies were called to East Bayonne Drive about 9 p.m. on a report of a pedestrian struck. There they found 31-year-old Kenner Jones on the ground and seriously injured, said Chief Deputy Randy Christian.Jones was only able to tell deputies that he had been running from a black car. He was airlifted to UAB Hospital where he underwent surgery.A witness alerted deputies to a car driving away from the scene, and told them this was the car that had struck Jones. Stringer was taken into custody.Firefighters told deputies Stringer had been on the scene when they arrived. She said she was going to move her car and refused to wait for deputies to get there.Christian said authorities believe Stringer and Jones were inside her car having an argument when Jones jumped out of the car. Stringer chased him down and ran over him, he said.Jones is listed in critical condition. Christian said doctors weren't able to re-attach his leg."That's a pretty extreme amount of rage there. A ridiculous amount really," Christian said. "My guess is she would like to take it all back but it's a little too late for that."
