UGA intercepted Mich St on their first OT possession.  UGA runs outside left for 2-3 on 1st down, then does the belly flop to center the ball on 2nd down, and kicks on 3rd down - wide right.  They both kick FGs on the 2nd OT, then UGA holds Mich St to a field goal on the 3rd OT.  UGA gets their 3rd OT field goal blocked, and loses.

I'm sure Richt thought his senior (all-SEC?) kicker was good for the game-winning 42 yard field goal in the first OT - seemed reasonable and safe at the time

It's like uga played their whole season for us. They blew their load on au and saved richts job, and then went back to vintage tard ugh under richt.
