ESPN: Blueprint for Fraud
« on: August 21, 2011, 03:13:01 PM »
Panel discussing reforming college football (which features Tressel, Cam and Miami in its promos -- which of these things is not like the other?) on ESPN.

Panel includes:

Shrew woman AD from Tennessee:  Currently awaiting sanctions in football and smacked in basketball.
Bob Stoops:  Rhett Bomar anyone?
Nick Saban: Guns, suits and cocaine in Tuscaloosa
Urban Meyer: Record for most player arrests in a four year period
Big East Commissioner Mike Tranghese: Scandals at UConn

Unless they're trying to create a panel to discuss how NOT to do things, this is a colossal fail.  Fucking ridiculous, actually.

ESPN is pushing the "pay the athletes" line pretty hard and this "panel" perfectly fits that ideal.

The only good thing about the whole panel thing is Urban basically calling out Saban for secondary violations right to his face.
