The teams they played for were named after their host country; Spain, Germany, Belgium, UK, etc. Each year, they played in the qualifying tournament for the LLWS - and were usually routed by the team from Saudi Arabia. One of the years, 2003 or 2004, team Saudi didn't give up a run in the entire tournament. Pretty impressive. They went on to the international final (winner goes to the LLWS) against Taiwan or Japan - teams comprised entirely of squints - and got crushed.
