Things particularly interesting.
- Alabama is the only team with a winning record against everyone in the SEC. LSU & Tennessee are next with 8. We are next with 7 plus a tie (God willing, we will be tied with LSU & UT in that category the next time we get to play Vandy). Then UF & UGA with 7. Then Ole Miss with 5. Then Arky with 4. Then Kentucky & USCe with 3. MSU with 1, and Vandy with zero (only the tie with Auburn).
-As much as Finebaum callers want to mix us in the the Vanderbilts & Kentuckys of the world historically, we're the closest team to closing the gap on Bama with a .460 record against them. The * denotes that we are their toughest opponent over history. Also only 6 games away. Only South Carolina is as close, but they've only played 14 times.
-Vandy? WTF. Yeah, they were better in the 50's and earlier, but damn, no one else seemed to have as much of a problem with them as we did. The Eastern teams I guess have an advantage by being able to play them so often in recent years.
