There's alot of truth to that article. Coaches are to blame for quite a bit of it. They brought it on themselves.
I will say this Rivals and Scouts aren't without fault. The article did state that. I'll give then that.
For the media, I have no love at all. Bullshit journalists with their own agendas and hidden interest. The intergity has all but faded and it is a lost craft. Gone are days when the words of respectable men would honor an agreement of information or inside knowledge with a simple handshake. Even early info that could be shared later.
It's rather tiresome to watch and listen to reporters cry over and over about treatment. It's not a automatic given because they are journalist that they are given freedom to not be held accountable for lots of faulse reporting and rumoring. In all fairness they rip people, sometimes falsely, sometimes justley, and when they are asked to be held accountable when they are wrong it becomes an attack on them. They certainly hold whomever they are intervieing accountable for every single word ,however it is phrased. Sometimes taking comments out of context. That's not respectable journalism.
Rivals and Scouts have been guilty of the same type behavior. They aren't as bad but certainly guilty.
