Famous Objects from Classic Movies shows you an object (let’s say a bowling ball) and asks you to name the film that object appeared in (let’s say The Big Lebowski). Which would be pretty unremarkable if the interface weren’t so cool. The crisply designed Web game lets you go letter by letter and gives you three misses per film. Some of the objects are easily recognizable; not all of the films fit our definition of “classic.†But that just makes for a breezier diversion, and the game’s makers also invite visitors to recommend new titles, which they really do turn into new questions. May we suggest the sled from Citizen Kane?
