Saunders is a dipshit Canadian who has smeared Auburn before on Sports Reporters.  I recall him saying (or repeating someone else saying) that the klan is nothing compared to the Auburn trustees.

Why would the BCS eye Auburn's title now?  Even if there were something that would need to be eyed, the BCS acts well after the NCAA rules.  The BCS didn't say squat about USC while the Yahoo reports were coming out - only after the NCAA issued their sanctions following investigation did the BCS act.

I agree with this. Most of the stupid shit we hear from talking heads nowadays, besides from the inbred nation, is like a proverbial statement. I got several of the Boda Getta books, one of the pictorials of the season.  On the front is Chiz and Fairley up on the stage and Saunders is standing behind them with a mic.  If you want to know Saunders' true disdain for Auburn, all you have to do is look at his face in the pic. This man wants to be anywhere else but on that stage giving AU props.

I think it's become pretty clear over the past year, that it's MUCH easier to let the few do the digging, rumor starting, tipping shit over...then report right along with the masses, then actually forming a real opinion and stating it when it comes to the national media.

It pisses me off too, but there is NOTHING outside of the few snide remarks that lead me to believe that anything is happening to AU's anything over the last year.  Are people still digging?  Well of fucking course.  However, when the head of the NCAA has said there just isn't anything there, but it's never necessarily closed, it leaves the mouth breathers JUSSSSSST enough room to say the investigation is ongoing.  That's fine, because it's just as acceptable for us to assume that the NCAA and a John Holmes sized dong is aimed straight for Bama's puckering poop shoot as well.
