No More Kickoffs - A Proposal

It was not a freak accident.  The kid made a mistake youre coached not to make from pee wee ball, or should be.  People yap about poor coaching when they see missed tackles, or DBs not looking for the ball, but call lack of a most base fundamental of tackling a freak accident?  This is Schiano trying to shirk and deflect blame.

We agree here JR. By freak accident I am meaning more the frequency at which this happens on kickoffs. For a neck to be broke, all the right/wrong things have to happen. It is rare when it does. For that reason, I labeled it a freak accident. Maybe "rare occurence" or "exception not the rule" would have been a more descriptive phrase to use.

My daughter has a bad habit of starting off sentences with "This one time..." and her dad and I never get tired of asking "At band camp?".  Of course she has no clue what this means, and after a few months of us saying it constantly, she yelled "I have never been to band camp!"
