My point: it's in the eye of the beholder. Different blogs and message boards float different rumors and innuendo. We seem to decide whether those sites are legit or not based on what we do or don't want to believe, and that then changes if they later report something we do or don't like. I mean, if we're claiming blogs and message boards as reputable sources now, then AU is indeed getting the hammer.

Or, are we only going on blogs that you and other AU fans deem as reputable? Who annoints these blogs and message board posters as "reputable"?

You're an idiot.  What you don't grasp is that you're giving credence to stories that have been blown up, proven incorrect or never proved correct, even from places like ESPN & NYT's.  Chizad's all over you because of the same thing as it relates to SBB.

The point is, you act like this is some sort of Auburn issue, when you so clearly do it yourself just as much as the next person.

I also think it's fair to say that an AU Blog, or site dedicated to AU and AU alone might have more insight into a program and the goings on than some outside fourth and fifth party source, regardless of what they are.

I believe Petey got greyshirted after switching his committment from AU to UA when Willis left for Bama. Not sure about his contribution amount. Doesn't matter though. If I were a Bama fan, I would be thinking this looks bad. Just my .02.
