JR, AWK, Wes, Snag, any of the barristers on here - Can he legally do this while this trial is going on?

Or can he - and just be limited to what he CAN SAY? This just seems like a big no no in general.

I'd also like to know WHO called F'baum during the show yesterday.   Everyone is saying it was the attorney for Updyke, but why in the fuck would F'baum not divulge that?  Does it matter at this point?

Legally?  Sure.  You know he's at least been prepped by Threatt, and Threatt will likely be with him, and Paul isn't going to hurt Threatt by making Updyke answer hard questions.

Now if his ass was kicked in Homewood leaving the Finebaum show that would be funny.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

First off, isn't Updick supposed to be headed to Louisiana?

Second, you know what PF is going to ask.  My problem is the way he interviews someone.  He sounds like Foghorn Leghorn. Listen to him in a serious interview.  The man cannot put a sentence together.

Now...now..now..when you...now when you you you...I say, now when you were..were...were..were...

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

The red Civic with a 300lb bald man waiting in the parking lot shouldn't raise any suspicion.

Finebaum is, whether knowingly or naively, participating in an orchestrated scheme to make Updyke a sympathetic figure.

"He can't actually be here because of security concerns"

"...all the threats he's had..."

That fucker has been on the loose since he bonded out after arrest!   Then suddenly, he's attacked while stopping to get gas and a drink...IN AUBURN!  Bull fucking shit.

This is getting sickening.

You can't tell me that this isn't doing ANYTHING but helping the accused, who is NOT a victim here.  How can you allow the attorney who's arguing for change of venue, come on un-challenged and then have the "victim" not show because of security concerns?

How can you NOT be accused of aiding the defendent's cause here?   This is a major sham, and of COURSE, nobody else in the state will have a problem with it.  Horseshit.

Is there any evidence of Threatt and Finebaum being old buddies?  It was really strange that Threatt got on Finebaum's show as soon as he took the case.

Now it seems like Finebaum is aiding in the case....
