HBO found four former Tigers who said they were paid by boosters and/or coaches.
There was a lot of "blah, blah, blah" in that bit, but this one above stands out as one more example of telling a lie long enough and loud enough, and it will become fact. Unless another one of the HBO 4 added something else, Troy Reddick tried to insinuate coaches were bag-men for money, but his actual words said that on one occasion, a coach handed him a
piece of mail, that he didn't open in front of the coach (indicating it was actually a piece of mail, not a brown envelope that was full of cash) and that it contained about $500. Reddick didn't say it was anything other than mail. And unless I've forgotten, 5 one hundred dollar bills in an envelope wouldn't be obvious until it's opened. At any rate, this has become a constant chirp of "Auburn coaches paying players". And of course the F'bomistas get in their shots trying to sell the idea that a coach delivering mail to a player is highly suspicious, and how the coach had to know what was in it.
There's absolutely no regard for the truth anymore. NONE!
