  • "I'm not really wise, but I can be cranky."
The Pharaoh Obama is in full campaign swing mode out west and made a very telling comparison in a campaign speech yesterday; obviously coveting the 'vote' of illegals I assume?

Here's the statement:

Quote
...
"No matter who you are. No matter where you can came from. No matter what you look like. No matter whether your ancestors landed here on Ellis Island or came here on slave ships or came across the Rio Grande, we are all connected. We will rise and fall together. That's the vision of America I've got, that's the idea of the heart of America," President Obama said at a fundraiser in San Francisco.

"That's the idea of the heart of our campaign," Obama added.
...

Here's a link to the video, it's not on teh Yootoobs so I don't think it will properly insert, about a minute long:

I'd love to lambast him for saying that, but unfortunately, if he didn't say it first, his opposition would.

We have to change America in the sense that America is run by people who only care about being elected.

I compare them to tenured teachers who don't do their job.  They work their asses off for 3 years and get tenure.  Then, the teacher is lazy as shit and doesn't care about anything.  Because of tenure we can't do anything about it.

These politicians work their asses off to get elected and then don't do what they say they were going to do.  But we don't do anything about it.  We don't hold them accountable.

I don't like Obama.  I don't.  I didn't vote for him and I'd vote for just about anyone in the next election who isn't named Obama.

BUT, we are beyond the point of deportation being a viable solution.  Well beyond.  The next step in the immigration "law" is to figure out a way to transform the "illegals" into productive members of society.  If there was a way to "round 'em up" and deport every illegal in the next 2 weeks, our economy would crash.  Although they aren't paying the same income taxes we are (which is the main problem), they are pumping millions of dollars into the economy on everyday items like groceries.

Deportation is a money pit.  We are throwing unreasonable amounts of tax dollars at it daily.  DHS is a joke from top to bottom, and it's simply another example of "big government" not getting the job done.

And for the record, I 100% believe that if we made citizenship easier for illegal Hispanics to obtain, they would pay the same taxes we do, and be much more productive than half of our natural citizens now.  Reality is, most Hispanics in America have a better work ethic, better family values, and do a better job of keeping priorities in order.

If they'd just learn some fucking English, most people would be less pissed about them being here.

That's not a factual statement.  Hispanics are no different than whites or blacks.  They have their good guys and their bad guys.

The solution is sealing the border with property security and discussing viable options for those still here.  I agree that we can by no means deport them.

But amnesty is also not the answer because legally you are setting a dangerous precedent.  Do you say, "Illegals who apply for citizenship before Jan. 1, 2012 automatically qualify"?  Would you expect the government to handle a project that large without flubbing it up?

What about those that arrive after Jan. 1 or after the deadline?  Can we just deport them without thinking twice about it?  The lawsuits would take too long and too much money to not just go ahead and grant amnesty a second time.  Then a third time.  Then a fourth time.

And suddenly we realize we haven't solved the illegal immigration problem at all.  We've simply opened the floodgates for people to relocate to the United States with no consequences or prerequisites.

I made no factual statement.  Key word was "believe".  Which makes it opinion.  And I stand by that opinion.

And "making it easier to gain citizenship" is a far cry from granting amnesty to all.  I'm simply saying that, if giving the chance, most illegal hispanics in our country WOULD take advantage of the opportunity and make the best of it.

I've seen many more lazy ass, cancer to society type natural citizens that I'd rather deport than Hispanics.
