Houston won the NL without his sorry ass.

I'm sure they are glad they didn't over pay for him. Granted, he's a Cardinal killer, unless you count striking out with the bases loaded, down a run, with two outs in the 9th, in game 7 of the NLCS.

Seeing as how I have tickets to watch the Cards play the Browns on the 28th, I sure hope so.

Oddly enough, this is the first time the Cards have played the Browns/O's in Camden. I can't believe with all the interleague that's been played, Baltimore and St Louis have never faced off in Baltimore.

No, it's not terrible, but I remember the O's of 92-97 that made a good little run there for a while and were always in the mix of it. I always heard the stories of them from the mid 60's to the early 80's. I do remember them winning it to an extent in 83. I remember people in my house being happy that they won more than anything.

Seriously though, I remember them shooting out of the gate pretty good this year. Maybe it was like 5-0, or 6-1. Still though to go from top of the heap in the begining to 5 games under has to suck for Orioles fans. By that I mean, they gave you guys false hope. Thats worse than none at all.

Most any other year I would have thought, "give it time, we will implode" this year was different. Buck comes in as manager last year and has the O's playing decent ball, I thought he may have us in the hunt this year and when we jumped out to 6-1 I was thinking it to be true. Now, it's just sad.
