I misremembered. Shafer is at .240. My bad, Jordan. Think about this. The Braves are 16 games over .500 right now and in control of the wildcard race for the most part. This is happening with:
Shafer at .240
McLouth at .228
Heyward at .223
Gonzales at .230
Uggla at .205 (Granted, he looks to be back on track)
On the bright side, Freddie Freeman is a flat out ballah, both in the field and at bat. This guy looks like an 8 year veteran. He's got a sweet swing and the past two games, I've seen him take pitches that he may have been fooled on or was overmatched...and just flick his arms out there and punch a little liner for a hit. Great bat control and he's at .292 now.
