The Auburn police have made an arrest in the Toomer's Corner oak tree poisonings.

Harvey Almom Updyke, 62, of Silver Hill Road in Dadeville, Ala., was arrested and booked into the Lee County Justice Center early this morning, according to sheriff Jay Jones.

He is being held on $50,000 bond and has been charged with one felony count of criminal mischief. Updyke faces 1 to 10 years in prison if convicted.
