Mike May'have bama's'cockin his mouth of the NFL Network doesn't have the sense of a goat.   

This Maycock clown has Mark Ingram rated as the #1 RB in the draft.  He's wrong. Ingram will be a mediocre NFL back at best. 

He has Julio ones rated the #2 receiver.  Don't see it but don't know what else is out there.  Jones  reminds me a little of Randy Moss.  Not that he's that good, but that he only runs two routes. 

He's got Cam as the #3 quarterback and had this to say in an extremely negative article about Cam's recent workout:
“I really didn’t need to see the workout, nor do I need to hear about the workout, because I can tell you about the workout entailed,” Mayock said. “I would guarantee you he would look great in a pair of gym shorts, he would throw with accuracy and arm strength, and his mechanics are very good.

“But I would offer one cautionary note: That is the best pro day for a quarterback I ever attended was JaMarcus Russell. That same day, even though I admitted it was the best pro day I ever saw, I also said I wouldn’t take him in the first round. For me, it’s not about him throwing in shorts. It’s about a lot of other things.”

And in the ranking that shows him to be the biggest fool yapping at the moment he ranks Nick Fairley the #2 DT.   Behind Marcel Dareus.   What the fuck?  Dareus made one play his entire career when he knocked McCoy out of the game with a questionable hit.  That's all he's ever done.  But whatever.

The only part of your post I disagree with is that Ingram will be a mediocre RB in the NFL. I think he will be a consistent 1000 yard rusher in the NFL and a pro-bowler.

These statements show what a naive fuck this guy is when trying to "Analyze" Cam Newton.  First off, I can understand some question concerning Cam playing in a shotgun first offense.  However, that's exactly what he's working on now and didn't he have the exact same question about Sam #1 overall pick Bradford?  How many years did Bradford play strictly from the shotgun? Second, what kind of kid is he going to be?  First guy in the building? Leader of men?  You stupid fuck.  At least do SOME research before you ask such ratahded questions. No, I don't need to see him workout.  I'm perfectly fine sitting behind a desk acting like I know what the hell I'm talking about and asking questions like a 2nd grader. 

I don't know where Cam will go, just as I said in another thread.  But at least have some basic knowledge on the subject before you spout such garbage.

He needs to be "the guy" in a zone run scheme IMO.  If he is, then I agree mostly.  Not sure he'll be great, but, as always in the NFL, lots will depend on the system he's in.  Under no circumstances do I think he's a feature back of the caliber that can carry a team. 

Julio?  Who knows.  The WR coming out of UGA is as good or better.  6'2" 200lb CBs that can run are a far cry from the avg college CB.

He wasn't a consistent 1000 yard rusher in college. 

Five years from now if he's had three or more 1000 yard seasons (modified to 1300 yards if they up the number of games to 18 or if you count playoffs) and/or made two or more pro bowls I'll buy you a steak dinner at a mutually agreeable restaurant.  Approximate value $50.

Julio is the Jamarcus Russell of wide receivers.  He's going to be the biggest hype machine of all time after his combine workouts.  But I think he'll continue to be Mr. Butterfingers in the NFL.

And Mayock is an idiot for rating Dareus higher than Fairley.  Fairley is just as dominant as Suh was last year.  But oh yeah, Mayock ranked Gerald McCoy higher than Suh, who managed to get to the Heisman ceremony as a DT.

As for Cam, he's being way too hard on him.  I know Russell made a lot of people think twice about how much stock to put into combine workouts, but I still think you have to analyze players based on their potential.  And Cam definitely has all pro potential.

I know this is conjecture, but it seriously depends on which team he goes to. I could see it going either way. If he went to the Browns, Panthers, Lions or a team of the like? Yeah, mediocre at best. If he went somewhere like the Colts or Patriots, he could def be a consistent 1000 yard rusher. Those teams can plug just about anyone into their system and make em work.
