We did get a LOI from what some considered, at the time, good WR recruits.  The fact that they are now busts could not have been predicted.  I was pretty logical in my assessment of shittiness back then... How dare you attempt to mock my one positive post.

That's kind of the point.  It's pretty hard to predict how kids will pan out.  Sometimes you think you've got a bag of rocks and they turn into gold.  Sometimes you think you've got bags of gold and it turns out to be plastic. 

We've all championed kids who busted and ignored ones who eventually soared.  I didn't look at every post, but I didn't see any celebratory "we got Nick Fairley" threads, though.   Other guys whose names don't ring the first bell, yes.  Fairley no.  Nobody saw that coming.

Yeah...I was there waiting to mock and ridicule the bastards...until I realized we wouldn't score a gotdam point. 

That was a fun read.  I realized that I was somewhat level headed at one point about Tubs.  I guess that changed walking out of the dead drunk stadium in November, 2008.

Um, I pretty sure if you knew what you were talking about, we racked up on WR's this year.  Actually, that is one position that was surprising to many experts.  Pierre and Winter are great recruits that will be up to par if not better then the Obamanu, Taylor, Mix esque trio.
