OK, so I got tired of Snowmageddon and Snowpocalypse...

I am leaving work at 1pm to pick up kids and hunker down at home for the first snow day I have had since high school. Sposed to start late this afternoon and cover us with 3-5 inches accumulated by tonight/tomorrow. Work canceled, schools closed. Grocery stores looted - which is kind of dumb since it is supposed to be 66 on Sunday. But whatever - Houston people can handle heat and hurricanes - but throw some precip on the roads and freeze it? OH NOES!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully we won't lose power but we have a few emergency T-bones and smoked sausage rations to see us through.

The kids are stoked. I'll post some pics if I get some good ones.

Catch y'all tomorrow as long as I have wireless!

Dammit...it's been snowing for half an hour here in the Ham too now. Schools closing, bridges icing over, mass chaos...Looks like I may be spending the night here at my desk.

What is the outlook for tomorrow and through the weekend?

I'm supposed to drive up tomorrow afternoon and play golf on saturday, I think.

Tomorrow is supposed to be a mixed bag of rain and sleet, and about 38. Saturday will be partly sunny and 41. Perfect golf weather.

Yeah. The bridges in some places may be a little slick after dark, but I don't expect anything else. It has been fun though watching all the wimmenz running around here in the office like the sky was falling, and tripping over each other to get to the parking lot and get dey babies.
