A-Day Scheduled

Quote
Auburn is looking for some time to rest between winning the national championship and starting spring practice, so the Tigers are planning to wait until after spring break to begin practice again.

The start date for spring practice will be somewhere around March 23.

Auburn will stage its A-Day spring game April 16 in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

A record crowd turned out last year to get a glimpse of a new quarterback named Cam Newton. This year, somebody has to replace him. Barrett Trotter figures to be first in line to do that. A lot of somebodies have to replace four seniors in the offensive line.

Six SEC teams are scheduled to play their spring games on April 16th.

The first out of the gate and the first to finish will be Florida, South Carolina, LSU and Mississippi State. Their spring games are April 9.

Plan on being there this year. No place picked out yet to throw up.

A national championship is a wonderful thing, but if you're not enough without it, you'll never be enough with it.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Must.  Hear.  This.  Story.

Not really much of one.  Basketball outing either two or three years ago.  We go to the game with seat cushion and ziplock bags of bourbon after starting with what I recall was a full bottle of vodka that morning about 6:00.
Basketball game ends then we go back to my car to drive tot he conference center.  Harvey and I in front with Garman and Tarheel in back.  About a hundred yards before we get to Toomer's I hear a back door open and turn to see Tarheel proceeding to projectile vomit while we are rolling up Magnolia.  The folks next to us on the sidewalk were all visibly impressed as well based on how much pointing they were doing.

1716 seems to be a favorite.

Much " Whogarden" beer was consumed there. Was the last day they were serving it. Family places are better for Throw up. It really effects the elderly and the young to see a grown man heave about 4 hours worth of beer on to his plate of food.
