It struck me immediately when the clerk said my total after ringing it up, and I took care to save the receipt.

That is pretty crazy.  Cashier's name is Crystal, total came out to $19.57 & you purchased it in Tuscaloosa the same year that they won the NC.

Yes, but for about a year and a half I lived within sniffing distance of that cesspool.  I tried not spend money there, but did on that occasion.

I'm within sniffing distance everyday at work, lol.  And yes my car wears the AU window stickers proudly.

Actually, he bought it from "Crystal M" - could that M be short for Meff?  (It is Tuscaloosa)

I assume you saved the receipt after not being able to get a refund for the Tony Franklin book.
